COVID Facts to Support Your Workplace

The La Crosse County Health Department will share key information about COVID-19, including testing, isolation and quarantine, and vaccinations. This information will provide you with the facts to best support health and safety of the employees in your workplace.

During this meeting, Jen will help us be able to:

• Identify the 3 main types of tests & how to access them

• Define actions appropriate for a COVID positive case or close contact (exposed)

• Identify the top 3-5 ways to prevent the spread of COVID in your business

• Understand the status of vaccines & identify where to find credible information

More about the speaker:

Jen Rombalski has been the Health Director at the La Crosse County Health Department for 5 years. Ms. Rombalski has over 16 years of experience working in local public health, 13 of which have been in a leadership role. She has served as the Health Officer in 3 county health departments varying in population from 14,000 and 6 staff to 118,000 and 55 staff. She also worked in rehabilitation at Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare in St. Paul, MN from 2001-2004. Ms. Rombalski received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire in 2000 and her Masters of Public Health in Administration and Policy from the University of Minnesota in 2016. Ms. Rombalski has received numerous awards including the “Rising Stars Under 40” award in 2016 from the 7 Rivers Alliance, which represents 14 counties across 3 states; and Advocate of the Year award from Great Rivers United Way in 2017.
