Upgrading orientations are high on the list of most HR agendas this year! Orientation is so important as it is your new employee’s first impression of the workplace.  Orientations often only last a few hours, but it’s an integral process of the employee’s experience.

During this panel discussion we will hear from local businesses that have revamped their orientation process recently.  We will learn what they are focusing on and why they decided to make the change. 

In this program our guest panel will help us learn:

• Why it is important to have an engaging orientation process.
• The key elements of an associate’s orientation
• What other local organizations are doing to revamp their programs

Jeannette Schreier 

Jeannette Schreier has been with Citizens State Bank of La Crosse for 15 years. After graduating from Western Technical College and spending 11 years in banking and management, Ms. Schreier started dabbling in HR in 2005 when Citizens State Bank of La Crosse came to town.  Her passion definitely lies in coaching and developing the staff, while growing and advancing the HR department with more efficient processes and procedures. Citizens State Bank is a smaller community bank with 78 employees and four offices across the west side of state. Citizens was named one of the “Best Banks to Work For”, both in 2018 & 2019.  Ms. Schreier currently leads a team of 3 HR staff, and also oversee the operations of a sister company with 20 employees.
